Small Group Sign Up Form - Fall 2025
Kindred Small Groups:
Kindred Small Groups are places of connection and belonging, support and encouragement, for people at any place in their faith journey. We guarantee that participating in a group will enrich your life and your faith.
What are Small Group meetings like?
Groups typically consist of about 10-15 people who gather weekly for 1-1.5 hours, once a week. Group members explore passages of Scripture together, reflect on how God is working in their lives, and pray together. No prior church experience is necessary, and all are welcome to participate.
Do Groups meet in-person or online?
One group will be offered via Zoom, two groups will meet in-person at different locations in the Durham area, and one group will be hybrid with one in-person meeting per month and the rest on Zoom. A schedule with location addresses will be provided should you choose to join the in-person or hybrid group. (Please note that unfortunately, Kindred will not be able to offer childcare at the in-person small groups).
Do I have to commit to a Group for the entire semester?
If at any time you feel like your small group isn’t the right fit for you, you’re welcome to bow out with no hard feelings. But we think that after a few weeks of getting to know your group-members you’ll want to keep coming back!
When do Groups begin weekly meetings?
Small Groups will meet weekly (with exceptions for certain holidays, etc.) starting the week of September 7th and continuing through November.
Interested?
Just give us your contact info and your availability below, and we’ll have one of our Small Group leaders reach out to you ASAP with an invite and more information.
Other Options:
We plan to offer a few other types of groups throughout the semester that will be more topical and shorter in duration. For example, we may offer a more curriculum-focused Bible study. If that sounds like a better fit for you, keep an eye on Kindred's weekly newsletter for updates about those groups in the weeks ahead.
